Project 365 - Day 241

The LONG awaited external hard drive box. It finally arrived and all my precious pictures are back in hand. I guess I had better get busy getting caught up and keeping good storage. I am just so grateful that we were able to get our data back. What a relief!

Project 365 - Day 240

No special occasion really, just Laura asking to make cupcakes for daddy. We tried strawberry cupcakes this time with the weight watcher version club soda instead of a diet soda and it worked great. She insisted on decorating the cupcakes with sprinkles for the boys. She loves to help me in the kitchen and is always asking to make dinner or something special that daddy can eat.

Project 365 - Day 239

This is my newest love. S'mores from the microwave. I know you might ask, what?? S'more's in the microwave is just not right, oh, but it is right, and oh so right it is. It is up there with creme brulee now for me and anyone who knows me knows I am a creme brulee snob. This is Nathan making a heart with his hands after making me one of these delicious little gems! Mike says it might be dangerous that the kids know that this little thing has become a sort of weakness for me because they might play on it in the future. I say play on, I will take my chances and enjoy the yumminess along the way!

Project 365 - Day 238

I made a little something for a blog friend I met in North Carolina. I stumbled upon her blog with all of this Project 365 business and have been keeping up with her and her family on her blog. She has the most fun sense of humor and seems like she would be a fast friend if we lived nearby. Anyway, she just had her second baby (a boy) and I will take any excuse at all to make something crafty, so I whipped up some burp cloths with some yummy new material. I picked up the shirt at the carter's store for her daughter and sent her a little care package. I know it may sound weird to some people to send something to someone you have never met but hey, what can I say, I am weird and I love to make things for people. It is part of my crafter sickness thing I need help for.

Project 365 - Day 237

Nathan's first day of school. He just looks so cute to me. He was so excited to wear his new clothes, shoes and take his new Star Wars backpack and lunchbox he got for his birthday. I took a ton of pictures of his packed lunch but I think I will spare you those and just save them for a scrapbook layout. Oh yeah, Noah started walking. Just hit me when I am down. My first baby goes off to school all day for the first time and my last baby starts walking. Geesh, what changes!

Project 365 - Day 236

Here is Nathan's first grade desk on the sneak a peek night at school. I am so glad they have these for the parents and kids. I was the only one with a camera and I know it put Nathan more at ease seeing things before the first day. The teacher seems very nice and I am excited to see what first grade will bring.

Project 365 - Day 235

A Sunday morning breakfast included homemade pancakes rather than the microwave version they are used to and as an added bonus Mike can actually eat these. I tried to make them more fun and am really glad that N and L are probably the easiest pancake shapes to make. I really need to work on my technique if I am going to earn the fun mommy credo.
