Project 365 - Day 182

You are witnessing a milestone in our household. Noah is exploring the world much more readily now a days and the LeapFrog alphabet refrigerator magnets have been a staple in our house since Nathan was a baby. Sure we have graduated to the 'Word Builder' and Nathan and Laura love building me words while I am cooking or doing dishes but the old standby will always remain for the baby in the house.
The most important thing about this photo is the pure joy of the ritual of the alphabet letters. The apparent goal is to crawl to the refrigerator and then pull oneself up and scrape every last letter off of the refrigerator so that Mommy can step on and kick little letters all over the floor and pick up little letters off of the floor all day and night with every sweep into the kitchen only to find more letters on the floor with every entrance into the kitchen.
And I do it happily. Knowing that this phase will pass all too quickly makes me sad and so I will joyfully pick up little letters for as long as I can and always remember that smiling face of accomplishment in my little one.
