Happy Mother's Day!

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday with the Dobie family and it was a great day. The kids played and played in the backyard and of course there are more food shots. We had chicken and ribs and grilled veggies and Chris even got a fancy Cathy salad. It was a wonderful day in the backyard. I hope all the mothers I know had a great day!

My mom and dad got this cute little mother duck and duckling set for my new yard. Laura wants to write their names on each of them and keeps moving them around the mommy duck. So cute.

Another eggless dessert I found for Mike. I thought these would be yummy but I am not so sure they turned out great. They are supposed to be chocolate strawberry shortcakes but I wasn't too pleased with them. Mike liked them so I guess they were a success. Thank goodness for Auntie Joni because if I tried to make them they would have been a complete flop.
