Otto the friendly scarecrow!

This just really makes me giggle. Nathan had this project for school and we had talked about how he wanted to decorate his scarecrow in depth. A trip to the craft store included a yellow shirt (of course, did you think it would be a different color!?!), sparkly/glittery/village people esqe pants, a belt, a yellow button belt buckle, 'america buttons' for his shirt, a hat, google eyes, a pink nose, 'straight like his' brown yarn hair, and a crow on his shoulder so you would know he is friendly. Let's not forget his name on his hat so everyone knows who he is. My kids definitely know what they want, gee I wonder where they get that from. These creations were hung up for the school wide fall festival and there was no missing my little boy's creation. I was quite proud of how it came out.
