Project 365 - Day 301

So here is a stack of new clothes just sitting there waiting for me to feel better so I can wear them. I had a fabulous time shopping with Grandma Alma and Aunt Pam last week and to my utter shock and amazement I can now shop in the REGULAR SIZES. This is a huge thing for me and I still don't quite believe it but that is what fits now. The WW (weight watcher) thing is going so painfully slow for me - the thing that hurts me is I know if I fully committed and did the program 100% my results would be better but I seem to be fighting the emotional battle of my eating these days. I have lost about 15 pounds since I started this journey on June 1st and to me this little stack of new jeans and shirts is the brightest moment. Now if I can just feel better to wear them all would be right!

Project 365 - Day 300

Little Laura and I seem to have gotten this awful flu thing the worst around here. Nathan is already back to school but Laura and I are lying around feeling miserable. Laura said to me "You know what I want mommy? I would like one of those yummy doughnuts. That would make me feel better"

So my wonderful mom who seems to still take care of me when I need it went on a store run for me and brought me yummy soups and egg salad and croissants from the awesome Nugget Market only to be met with Laura's sad little face of doughnut yearning. So she actually left my house and got her a doughnut. Anything to make her feel better. My mom rocks, this cold/flu thing stinks.

Project 365 - Day 299

My Dad brought over this intact bird's nest for the kids to see. I can't believe how perfect it is except that the egg is empty. It brightened our sick day.

Project 365 - Day 298

What a great looking hat! The Yankees are ACLS champs and are heading to the World Series! This has brightened our sick spirits around here for sure. Mike and I have vowed to buy this hat when they win the World Series though. Every time we buy the ACLS hat and t-shirt right away they have lost the World Series. Go Yankees!

Project 365 - Day 297

Well, four out of the five of us are sick around here. Mike went to the store for the essentials and picked up some veggies to help us along. Man oh man, this sickness is awful. I had no energy, fever, just achy all over. Nathan and Laura have it too and it is no fun. Noah seems to be on the mend and Mike is taking care of us.

Project 365 - Day 296

These were one of my favorite things from when Nathan was a baby. Baby slippers are just the cutest thing. These are little bear slippers and Noah is totally into them. Seeing him walk around with them on is just so funny. He takes moments to stop and play with them and it is just as cute. He is feeling much better today but I think it is a pajama day!

Project 365 - Day 295

So my two days away were cut very short. I felt bad knowing he might be coming down with something but my mom assured me she could handle it. I was okay since he had slept fine the night before I left but was still a little worried. He woke up Thursday morning not feeling well so I called and made him an appointment and she took him in and sure enough Noah has a horrible ear infection and pink eye.
