Project 365 - Day 258

A new movie is about to hit the theater and it has got the kids excited. "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" was found at the library and it prompted a spaghetti and meatball dinner. Laura thought this was the funniest thing and thought it should be the POTD.

Project 365 - Day 257

This will be cropped and fixed in photoshop and I can't believe I am posting this in this format but I am on a roll and determined to get this blog caught up so I will have to fore go the vanity at this late time of evening.

A new do if you will. I have lost a considerable amount of hair with the birth of my last child. It has fallen out in clumps and what used to be curly hair is now a stringy weird mess. I decided to just go with it and cut it shorter in hopes of it growing faster and making a little more sense of the uneven-ness. The good news - some of the curl has returned where it is now a shockingly short length in the back but the sides are still a mess. A diffuser helped a little but I am still not thrilled with the results. I have not been happy with how I look for some time now and am just hoping to feel normal again soon.

Project 365 - Day 256

This is something new. Peek-a-Boo from behind the chair. I really don't get it but these two find this absolutely hysterical. They laugh and laugh and could do this for hours. The yoda doll is courtesy of the Nakamuras for Nathan's birthday (just in case you were wondering).

Project 365 - Day 255

Mike and I had split duty today. He stayed home and took Nathan to his soccer game and I got to go to the Bay Area with Noah and Laura for the twins birthday party. Lisa was so sweet to get Noah and Jayce their very own cupcakes for our little get together dinner after the party. I still can't believe friends of 20 years all have children in the same month, much less the same day! Jayce is 9/9 and Noah and the twins share 9/10.

Project 365 - Day 254

I am still awaiting the "official" picture of the day. 9/11 is now known as Constitutional Day and the kids at Nathan's school celebrate the American flag with a special ceremony and the teacher took pictures she has agreed to share so that is what I want the POTD to be. These are some note cards I made for his teachers birthday, which also happens to be 9/11. I used the KI Memories school line with the lace papers and shimmer paper and don't forget the ribbon.

Project 365 - Day 253

Happy FIRST Birthday sweet baby! I am totally struggling with this one. I kinda knew this would be hard but I didn't know it would be this hard. I don't know why I am so emotional. He is just changing almost daily and I can't seem to get enough of every stage before he moves on to the next one. With his birthday falling on a Thursday and celebrating with the twins on Saturday (who he shares a birthday with) we decided to have a family celebration. We had Noah's bagel pizzas (that is supposed to be a "1" on his) and I made cupcakes with blue frosting (Laura's idea). The kids picked out 'baby' legos (read Duplo) and it was a great night.

Project 365 - Day 252

This picture cracks me up. This is what I woke up to when I went to get Noah from his crib in the morning. He has learned to take his pants off and throw them out of the crib. It is funny and cute now but I am hoping and praying this does not translate into the diaper coming off and being tossed onto the floor. I will keep you posted.
