Project 365 - Day 59

Happy 13th Birthday to Jovanni! My brother and his soon-to-be wife and their son had a birthday party to celebrate Jovanni turning 13. Nathan and Laura had a blast running around with all of the new cousins.

Project 365 - Day 58

My parents took Laura and Noah while I was working in Nathan's class and decided to take Laura for an early birthday lunch. This is something they want to do as a tradition with each of the kids for their birthdays. They also experienced the party store with Laura and let her pick out some balloons for her upcoming party. Needless to say the lunch got the 'thumbs up'!

Project 365 - Day 57

What can I say?! The boy loves to chew on his toes. I am just glad he can now get them up there because for a while he was a trying but there was just too much in the middle for the toes to make it all the way up to the mouth!

Project 365 - Day 56

As I dropped Nathan off at school this morning his teacher invited me back for the school sing and let me know Nathan would be getting an award. It was fun to sneak in and see his face catch my eyes. He received an award for "fairness" because he demonstrates this trait in class. I am happy to hear this but the other side of my brain is saying 'whatever, it was just his turn to get an award for the month'. I know I shouldn't be so cynical but c'mon it is a little cheesy, cute, but still cheesy!

Project 365 - Day 55

I give up. There is just no way to clean the house when you have kids. I just give up. Every time I turn around they have more stuff out, scattered all over the house and then I just have to stop and give in and get the camera because I just think there are few things cuter than a boy in overalls. They were having a blast with the 'Little People' and the 'Shake and Go Speedway'. I do love to see them play.

Project 365 - Day 54

I went in to check on the munchkins and found they were fast asleep after some heavy reading. I sure hope Laura is taking notes from the potty books, maybe she needed both for research or something. Kendal and Chase were nice enough to pass 'The Potty Book for Girls' along last week and there have been no remarkable steps to progress but I thought it was funny those were her bedtime choices.

Project 365 - Day 53

This is my view of two very happy faces when I lifted the tent door up. Nathan and Laura got their play tents out and set an 'art studio' up for themselves. I printed off some stuff for Nathan from the Lego website and he cut the figures out and made a book for himself. He let me know that will be his sharing this week. Little Miss Laura had to join in too and did some coloring. They were just so happy with all their stuff. BTW, yes they have two shopping carts, two desks and all of the crayons, markers and pencils in their with them!
